As your Peel School Board Trustee Representative for Wards 2 & 6, I will work on the following priorities:

Ensuring Peel public schools remain open and fully operational throughout the academic year:

  • A return to school assemblies, year-round extracurricular activities, end of year graduations.
  • Supporting a fast and fair resolution to labour disputes.

Keeping Schools Safe:

  • Improving access to mental health resources and supports.
  • Welcoming school environments. Ensuring board policies promote inclusion. 
  • Transparent implementation of anti-oppressive practices for black students and those from equity deserving communities.

Fostering Academic Success for all - age groups:

  • Strengthening STEM programming.
  • Investments in specialized programs, including Regional High School Programs.
  • Additional support for parents of special-needs children and advocating for improved staff ratios in classrooms.

Daniella Brings Exprience

Daniella is an accredited urban planner and project manager, wife, mom, and thought leader. Her service in the community has spanned from education to mentoring youth and volunteering at community events. Daniella has extensive experience in city building and community development, grounded in a desire for deep impact and lasting change.
